The 2001 Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards were held on August 28, 2001 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica, California.[1] The seventh annual awards program was co-hosted by Luther Vandross, Leeza Gibbons, Eve, and Shemar Moore.[2] Produced by Don Cornelius Productions in association with Tribune Entertainment Company, it aired on September 1, 2001.[2]
