医師助手とは、中国で3年間の医療研修機関を卒業した、認可を受けた医療従事者です。
中国には3-5-7の3段階医療制度があり、3年間研修する医師助手、5年間研修する医師、そして大学で7年間研修する医学者で構成されています。[1]
