Biography

Cole Walliser was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and grew up in Richmond, British Columbia. He completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from University of British Columbia.[1]

In 2008, one of Walliser's dancer friends, who was a choreographer for Miley Cyrus at the time, asked him to direct two episodes of the web series The Miley and Mandy Show ("M&M Cru with a U BATTLES Step Up 2" and "M&M Cru Final Dance Battle: Cyrus Blaine Seacrest Tatum") in response to a friendly dance battle proposed by Jon Chu and Adam Sevani's dance troupe. These episodes featured dance crews and a number of celebrity cameos, culminating in a performance at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, which Walliser also directed.[2][3][4]

In 2009, Walliser directed the opening video for P!nk's Funhouse Tour. He also directed a 30-minute documentary Life On Tour with P!nk, and four of her music videos ("Please Don't Leave Me", "Funhouse", "Leave Me Alone (I'm Lonely)" and "Mean"), which played during the Funhouse Summer Carnival Tour.

In 2010, Walliser edited two episodes of the dance webseries, The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers ("Fanboyz" and "The Tale of Trevor Drift"). He also directed Katy Perry the storyline that played throughout her California Dreams Tour, and edited the footage of her wedding to Russell Brand for her 53rd Grammy Awards performance in 2011. Walliser also frequently collaborates with Mercedes-Benz and Lexus for their marketing initiatives.[citation needed]

In 2016, while working the red carpet for E! Entertainment, Walliser started operating the Glambot to capture high-speed videos of celebrities posing on red carpets. He shares these videos on social media with behind-the-scenes of the setups.[5][6]
