Falkenstein (German pronunciation: [ˈfalkn̩ˌʃtaɪn] ^ⓘ) is a town in the Vogtlandkreis district, in Saxony, Germany. It is situated 4 km southwest of Auerbach, and 17 km east of Plauen.
