Jasper Martus is an American Democratic politician from Michigan.[1] He was elected to the Michigan House of Representatives from the 69th district in the 2022 election.[2] He was reelected in 2024.[3]
He graduated from James Madison College at Michigan State University with a degree in International Relations and a minor in World Religions.[4]
Early Life & Education
Martus was born in 2000 to parents residing in Genesee county, Michigan. [citation needed]
He attended Powers Catholic High School before completing his bachelors from Michigan State University in 2021. [citation needed]
Political career
Martus currently serves in the Michigan House of Representatives for the 69th district, overseeing portions of Genesee county including Flushing, Swartz Creek, Clayton, Mt. Morris, Clio [citation needed]
Starting at 16 years old, he began working for Michigan 8th District U.S. Representative, Dan Kildee, as a staffer. [citation needed]
He's since worked as a Communications Advisor for the MI House Democrats and several campaigns before launching his own electoral bid in 2022; clinching the newly apportioned Michigan house district(2022). [citation needed]
