Pamela Hamilton (born c.1958) is a former international badminton player from Scotland who competed at two Commonwealth Games.
Biography
Hamilton playing out of Airdrie, North Lanarkshire[1] and was a Scottish international.[2]
Hamilton represented the Scottish team[3] at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Canada,[4] where she competed in the badminton events.[5] Hamilton would also go on represent Scotland at the 1982 Commonwealth Games.
In 1984 she played in the Uber Cup[6] and in 1986 she was in New Malden and represented her nation at the European Championships.[7] By 1986 she was also the Scottish number 2 ranked player and also became the nation's second most capped player.[8] The following year she was based in Guildford.[9]
She was twice a singles champion and four times a doubles champion at the Scottish National Badminton Championships.[10][11] Additionally, she won four titles at the Irish Open.
