Raymond Indra (born 24 April 2004) is an Indonesian badminton player affiliated with the Djarum club.[1][2]

Career

Early career

Raymond Indra's journey in badminton began in his hometown of Bandung, where he first developed his passion for the sport at the age of seven. He spent his foundational years training at Scorpio Bandung, a local club where his raw talent and agility were first nurtured.[2] Under the guidance of his early coaches and the unwavering support of his parents, Indra's performance in regional tournaments quickly marked him as a standout prospect in West Java. In 2018, he took a major step forward by joining the Djarum club. His transition to this elite training environment allowed him to specialize in the men's doubles, where he became known for his lightning-fast reflexes and tight defensive play. During his time at Djarum, he won the men's doubles title in the Bahrain International Challenge.[3] The most significant milestone of his early career occurred in January 2022. After emerging as a champion in the National Selection (Seleknas), Raymond officially earned his place at the PBSI National Training Center (Pelatnas) in Cipayung.[4]
