Samaecicada is a genus of cicadas, also known as fairies, in the family Cicadidae, subfamily Cicadettinae and tribe Cicadettini. It is endemic to Australia. It was described in 2010 by entomologistsLindsay Popple and David L. Emery.[1][2]
