Vicques (French pronunciation: [vik] ) is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France.

Geography

The commune is made up of the following collection of villages and hamlets, Vicquette and Vicques.[3]

The Dives is the only river running through the commune.[4]

Points of Interest

  • Château à Vicques - a sixteenth centaury Château built on the site of a twelfth centaury castle that was listed as a Monument historique in 1975.[5]
