Career highlights and awards

Casper Møller, better known as cadiaN, is a Danish professional Counter-Strike player who currently plays for OG. He is best known for his time on Heroic as an IGL/AWPer who led his team to a number of trophies.

Career

2019

Møller first joined Heroic in October 2019 after playing with the team two separate times as a stand-in back in 2017.[1] Shortly after, the team won their first event, DreamHack Open Atlanta 2019, with cadiaN putting up a 1.73 HLTV rating performance in the finals over Sprout.[2]

2020

2020 was uneventful for Heroic until August, when they won ESL One: Cologne, with Møller himself calling it a "miracle run". He led his team to victory against Vitality in the best of 5 grand finals, although ZywOo still received the HLTV MVP.

2021

In April, Heroic beat Gambit in the finals 3-2 to win ESL Pro League Season 13. On match point of the last map of the tournament, Møller clutched a 1v4, winning the tournament and getting himself the 2021 highlight of the year from HLTV.[3]

2022

In June, Møller led his team to victory at the Pinnacle Cup Championship, beating Astralis 2-0 in the finals.[4] Møller and his team went on to place 2nd at the IEM Rio Major, beating teams like Spirit and Furia, but losing to the Outsiders (this roster couldn't operate under the Virtus Pro jersey due to the invasion of Ukraine) in the grand finals 0-2. Møller still put up a great performance, with the highest average HLTV rating on his team - 1.12.[5] In November, he was able to upset FaZe in the finals of the BLAST Fall Finals 2022, beating them 2-0 and winning the tournament, making this his first major LAN event trophy.[6]

2023

After two grand finals losses in IEM Katowice 2023 and IEM Rio 2023, Heroic won their first trophy of the year at the BLAST Spring Final 2023, beating Vitality in the grand finals 2-1, with cadiaN putting up a 1.20 average rating.[7] cadiaN was named the 18th best player of the year by HLTV.[8]
