ローンヒルは1880年に区画整理された。 ^{[ 2 ]}このコミュニティには1881年から1943年まで郵便局があった。^{[ 3 ] [ 1 ]}ローンヒルの人口は1902年には25人、^{[ 4 ]} 1915年には22人、^{[ 5 ]} 1925年には61人であった。 ^{[ 6 ]} 1940年の人口は50人であった。^{[ 7 ]}
