Nemom State assembly constituency is one of the 140 state legislative assembly constituencies in Kerala. It is also one of the seven state legislative assembly constituencies included in Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha constituency.[1] As of the 2021 Assembly elections, the current MLA is V. Sivankutty of CPI.
After the 2008 Delimitation,Major Portions Of Previous Trivandrum East Assembly Was Merged,While Major Portions Of the Previous Nemam Constituency Was Added To Kattakada Assembly constituency
