北緯37度30分11秒 東経23度20分54秒 / 北緯37.50303°、東経23.34845° / 37.50303; 23.34845Antheia or Anthea (Ancient Greek: Ἄνθεια) was a town in the Troezene in ancient Argolis, said to have been founded by the mythological figure Anthes.[1][2] In mythology, King Pittheus transferred the town's population (synoecism) to Troezen.[3]
The site is near modern Damala.[4][5]
