Clara Federica Vegas Goetz is a Venezuelan beauty queen, actress, and model. She was the winner of the Miss Venezuela 2025 title.[2][3][4]

Vegas is the daughter of Andreína Goetz, who was the winner of Miss Venezuela 1990, making her the first daughter of a previous Miss Venezuela winner to win a title in more than 70 years.[5][6][7]

Biography

Clara Vegas was born in Chacao in Caracas. She is the third of five children of Andreína Goetz and Nicolás Vegas. In 2011, Vegas and her family moved to Wellesley, Massachusetts. After high school, she studied performing arts at the University of Southern California. In 2020, she moved to the United Kingdom, where she studied acting at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in Cardiff. She later moved to London for two years, where she worked as a receptionist in Soho. In June 2025, she returned to Venezuela, initially for two weeks, to attend her younger sister's high school graduation. She decided to apply for Miss Venezuela 2025 while there.[8]

Clara participated in the 72nd edition of the Miss Venezuela pageant, representing her home state of Miranda. Vegas competed against 21 other contestants from different states of the country, winning the final round against María Alayón of Amazonas. At the end of the event, she was crowned by her predecessor, Stephany Abasali, as the new Miss Venezuela.[9] She is the eighth winner from Miranda.
