Cordylosaurus (from Greek: κορδῡ́λη kordū́lē, 'club' and Greek: σαῦρος saûros, 'lizard')[2] is a monotypic genus of lizards.[3] Only a single species is assigned to this genus, the blue-black plated lizard (Cordylosaurus subtessellatus).
