Frankie Annette Reed (born 1954, Baltimore)[1] is an American diplomat. She is an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the East-West Center. She was appointed United States Envoy to the Pacific Islands Forum in March 2023.[2] She retired from the Department of State following an appointment as United States Consul-General in Melbourne.[3] From 2011 to 2015 she was the United States Ambassador to Fiji, Kiribati, Nauru, Tonga, and Tuvalu.[4] She has a BA in journalism from Howard University and a doctorate in law from the University of California, Berkeley.
