ジョン・オブ・レディング（ラテン語：Johannes de Reading, Johannes Radingia, Ioannes Radingiensis、1272年頃 - 1346年）は、イギリスのフランシスコ会神学者、スコラ哲学者。ウィリアム・オッカムの初期の反対者であり、ドゥンス・スコトゥスの信奉者でもあった。
キャリア
ジョン・オブ・レディングは1292年9月20日にノーサンプトンで副助祭に任命された。彼は1294年にダンスタブルで助祭になった。[1]
彼は1321年までにオックスフォード大学で神学の博士号を取得した。[2] : 4 1320年頃、オックスフォード大学在学中に『神学の原則』の注釈を執筆し、科学の統一性を主張した。[2] : 76
1322年、彼はアヴィニョン（当時アヴィニョン教皇庁の所在地）に教職に就きました。[a]レディングはアヴィニョンに埋葬されています。[3]
