キャリア

ホルダーは2012年にカリフォルニア州サンディエゴのユニバーシティシティ高校を卒業。卒業後はグロスモント大学に入学し、野球チームでプレーし、打率.405、60安打、21打点を記録した。グロスモントでの1年目を終えた後、サンディエゴ大学に入学し、トレロスで野球をプレーした。2014年のシーズン終了後、ケープコッドベースボールリーグのコトゥイト・ケトラーズで大学夏季野球をプレーした。[3] 3年生の時には、USDで打率(.348)と打点(31)でトップの成績を収めた。[4] WCC年間最優秀選手に選ばれた。3年生を終えた後、2015年のMLBドラフト1巡目でニューヨーク・ヤンキースに指名された。ホルダーはヤンキースと180万ドルの契約金で契約した。[5]

The Yankees invited Holder to spring training as a non-roster player in 2019.[9] He spent the year with Trenton, slashing .265/.336/.405 with nine home runs and forty RBIs over 112 games.

On December 10, 2020, Holder was selected by the Philadelphia Phillies in the Rule 5 Draft.[10] On January 30, 2021, Holder was traded to the Cincinnati Reds in exchange for cash considerations.[11] On March 30, 2021, Holder was returned to the Yankees.[12]

Colorado Rockies

On December 16, 2021, Holder signed a minor league contract with the Colorado Rockies.[13] In 45 appearances for the Triple-A Albuquerque Isotopes, he batted .197/.276/.276 with two home runs and 11 RBI. Holder was released by the Rockies organization on July 24, 2022.[14]
