Prior to his role in the Logistics and Finance Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).[6] Ashrafuzzaman served as the Deputy inspector general (DIG) of the Police Training Centre in Khulna and as the Joint Commissioner of the Traffic South Division of the DMP.[5]
