The six-tubercled Amazon River turtle [ 3] or six-tubercled river turtle (Podocnemis sextuberculata ) is a species of turtle in the family Podocnemididae .
It is found in the Amazon basin in Brazil , Colombia , Peru and possibly Ecuador .[ 4]
