Poruba pod Vihorlatom (Hungarian: Németvágás) is a village and municipality in Michalovce District in the Košice Region of eastern Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1418.

Geography

The municipality lies at an altitude of 200 metres (660 ft)[3] and covers an area of 20.49 km2 (7.91 sq mi) (2024).[4]

The village lies at the southern foothills of the Vihorlat Mountains.
