Sean Stuart Cairncross (born July 12, 1974) is the National Cyber Director (NCD) of the United States.[2] He is also an American lawyer that served as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Millennium Challenge Corporation, Senior Adviser to U.S. President Donald Trump, and CEO for the Republican National Committee. [3][4][5] He was nominated to be the National Cyber Director on February 11, 2025 and confirmed on August 2, 2025.[6][7]
