Thalgau is a market town in the district of Salzburg-Umgebung in the state of Salzburg in Austria.

Geography

Thalgau lies 18 kilometres (11 mi) east of the city of Salzburg. It is a central spot in the eastern Flachgau.

Economy

Sony DADC, a Sony-owned optical disc manufacturing plant established in 1987, operates in Thalgau.[3] In 2016, Lechner Racing opened its new headquarters in Thalgau.[4] Red Bull operates a Red Bull Athlete Performance Center in Thalgau.[5]
