キバタン（Pionites leucogaster xanthurusまたはPionites xanthurus）は、アフリカおよび新世界に生息するオウム科オウム亜科（Arinae）に属する鳥類で、中央シロハラオウムとも呼ばれる。ブラジル固有種である。[ 2 ]アメリカ鳥学会^{南米分類委員}会、国際鳥類委員会、およびクレメンツ分類では、キバタンをシロハラオウム（P. leucogaster）の亜種として扱っている。^{[ 3 ] [ 2 ] [ 4 ]}バードライフ・インターナショナルの『世界の鳥類ハンドブック（HBW）』では、完全な種とみなされている。^{[ 5 ]}同属の他の分類群と比較して、飼育下での個体数は少ない。^{[ 1 ]}
