Kiran Kahani (Urdu: کرن کہانی, lit.'Kiran's Story') is a 1973 Pakistani television series written for PTV by Haseena Moin, directed by Shireen Khan and produced by Zaheer Khan.[2][3]
The story revolves around a cheerful girl named Kiran (Roohi Bano) and her family.[4]
It was the first original series script in Pakistani Television history, as previously PTV had used novel-based scripts for its dramas.[8]
The drama was remade with the same name in 2006, again written by Haseena Moin and starring Nadia Jamil and Rehan Sheikh.[9]
